A brief history of A&D Bird Seed & Farm Market

• 1992 - A&D Bird Seed was started on a wing and a prayer as a sideline to the Wyant Family's farming business. The seed was mixed in the driving shed, then packaged in the basement of our home and sold from a storage box.
• 1994 - The bird seed business started to grow out of the nest so a small retail store was built
• 1996 - An addition was added to the store almost doubling the size of what is now our Corporate HQ. The large feed tower that you see at the back of the store was acquired and it houses some of the various seed used in our mixes.

• 1997 - To compliment our Tweeters Tweats, Allen and Dwayne started to create their own line of bird feeders and houses.
• 1999 - The demand for new products was met with the introduction of our own handcrafted lawn furniture and ornaments, people need a feeding station too. A workshop was built adjacent to the store to accommodate all the wood projects.
• 2000 - Customers are now flocking to over 20 retail locations to purchase A&D-licious Seed.                       
• 2002 - Happy 10th Anniversary! We look forward to birding with you in the future.
• 2014- We moved to our new location on Airport road, south of Stayner.                     
• 2016- Starting our own preserving, Pickled Asparagus, Beets, Pickles, Beans, Garlic, Salsa, Relishes, Jams and Jellies.     
• 2016- Hand raising Cattle on the farm again.
• 2017- Happy 25^th Anniversary- September.
• 2017- As of today we have made 27 different custom bird mixes for ourselves in our retail store and our wholesalers.
• 2018- Expanded our line of Farm Market items! Soups, Desserts, Ready to Go Meals, Vaseys Sheep’s Cheese, and Lamb meat for your freezer!
