DUCK RACE SCAVENGER HUNT The Kinsman Duck Race is taking place on May 5th this year. In conjunction with the Duck Race, the Stayner Chamber of Commerce arranges a Scavenger Hunt with stilt walkers on the Main Street. We are looking for a new Committee Chair this year. If you are interested in chairing or co-chairing this committee, please e-mail the Chamber bytomorrow (Wednesday February 7th) by 5:00pm at staynerchamber@gmail.com. If no members express interest by tomorrow afternoon, the Scavenger Hunt will unfortunately be cancelled this year.
CANADA DAY
The Stayner Chamber is looking for a new chair or co-chair for the Canada Day festivities this year, as the past chair is unable to participate. Please email the Chamber as soon as possible at staynerchamber@gmail.com if you are interested in working on this event.
STAYNER ART FEST
Stayner Art Fest is looking for a new Committee Chair or Co-Chairs. Last year’s Chair is not able to participate in the Art Fest this year but is prepared to provide the contacts and data from last year’s event to the new committee. Neema’s Children’s Choir as well as a few vendors have already expressed interest in participating in this year’s June event but until a committee is formed, no work can be done to move forward. If you are interested in chairing or co-chairing this committee, please e-mail the Chamber at staynerchamber@gmail.com. If no members express interest by the next meeting on Wednesday February 21st, the Stayner Art Fest will be cancelled for this year.
