November 1, 2018, 8 am to 5 pm – AG 4.0.2, The Next Big Thing:  Digital Agricultural Conference, Meaford Hall
Grey County’s third annual event, this is a jam-packed day, of speakers and panels in the morning, with farm and facility tours in the afternoon.  Keynote Speaker is Scott Shearer on the topic of the future of agriculture.  He is the Chair, Department of Food, Agricultural and Biological Engineering, Ohio State University.  For more information and to register, click here.
 
November 6, 2018, 1 to 4 pm – TripAdvisor:  Making It Work! Swanmore Hall, Orillia
Orillia CDC, in partnership with Ontario's Lake Country and Tourism Simcoe

November 29 and November 30, 2018 - Regional Forum Rural Newcomer Integration, Village Conference Centre, The Blue Mountains
Hosted by Grey County and Partners, the day-long form on November 30th is an employer focused event bringing together a wide variety of stakeholders to share stories, research, projects and insights into newcomer attraction and retention.  On the evening of November 29th, a FREE bonus session is being held, "Housing Models to Grow Communities - how do we attract newcomers when there's no place to live?"  For more information on both of these events, registration and overnight accommodation, please click here
