Due to COVID-19, The Clearview Chamber of Commerce has decided NOT to host our General monthly meeting on Wednesday, March 18th at the Clearview town hall at 6:30 pm.
Our Executive Board has made the decision to follow the Government recommendations to practice social distancing, a minimum of 6 feet, in hopes to prevent the spread of COVID-19. It is important that we as a community protect our most vulnerable citizens and businesses. Any important and pressing information that would have been brought up at the meeting will be sent to the membership via e-mail instead.
We understand this may be a trying time for many, so this may be a good time to get creative. The following are some tips to help keep us positive and be forward-thinking in these difficult times.
Spring Cleaning
Prepare your accounting early
Paint that wall, exterior, stairs, etc.
Learn to sell online
Learn how to accept e-transfers
Local delivery; the customer pays you online with an e-transfer first, then you drop it at their door.
Do you make items?
Sell items oh Kijiji or eBay
Take an online course to learn something new
Remember, your customers will be online for many hours per day during this time. They are a captive audience. Offer specials, discounts, and incentives
We hope this will be over quickly so Clearview can be back in business.
Stay healthy everyone!
