A MESSAGE FROM ONTARIO'S CHIEF MEDICAL OFFICER OF HEALTH: WORKING TOGETHER TO FIGHT COVID-19
We are at a very critical time in our Province. Ontario is in the midst of a second wave of COVID-19, and cases continue to rise. We need to get case numbers down to protect the health and safety of Ontarians, and to keep our health care system from becoming overwhelmed. It’s a difficult challenge, but it is not impossible to overcome. It takes all of us working together to stop the spread of COVID-19 Everyone has a role to play and it’s the sum of our individual and collective actions that will make a difference to controlling the spread. The Ontario Chamber of Commerce and the business community have demonstrated tremendous partnership and resilience in our fight against COVID-19 and your ongoing collaboration and support is appreciated. We continue to ask all Ontarians to adhere to the basic public health measures that we know keep ourselves and our communities safe, such as work from home when possible, keep a physical distance from others, wear a face covering, wash your hands thoroughly and often, and stay home if you are feeling sick.By working together, we will make a difference and keep everyone safe.Dr. David WilliamsOntario Chief Medical Officer of Health
