CLEARVIEW SUPPORTING SIMCOE COUNTY PARAMEDICS REIMAGINED CHRISTMAS TOY DRIVE
Clearview Township is supporting the Simcoe County Paramedics reimagined Christmas Toy Drive. The Clearview Township Administration Centre is hosting a drop-off donation box, and Clearview Council approved the ‘Toys for Tickets’ initiative at their November 23, 2020 meeting. ‘Toys for Tickets’ allows parking tickets issued between November 24, 2020, and December 15, 2020, to have the option to pay the early fee as indicated on the ticket, or to submit a gift card or toy of equal or greater value as payment for the ticket.Due to the public health guidelines imposed by COVID-19, donations of gift cards or virtual donations are encouraged, though new, unwrapped toys will continue to be accepted. Physical items donated will be quarantined or disinfected before processing. Donations dropped off to the donation bin located at the Clearview Township Administration Centre or received via the ‘Toys for Tickets’ programs will stay within Clearview, supporting local families in need.
