Chamber Name Change Official
The Chamber’s name change from the Stayner Chamber of Commerce to the Clearview Chamber of Commerce is now official! We are no longer just acting as the Clearview Chamber of Commerce, we are now properly incorporated under our new name.
COVID Screening Kits
Our members have access to free COVID screening kits through the Barrie Chamber of Commerce.
It is important to note that this is NOT a COVID test kit. Anyone who receives a positive test result through the Workplace Self Screening Kit will need to make arrangements with their local Public Health Unit to receive a PCR test as soon as possible.

A sincere thank you to the Barrie Chamber of Commerce for allowing our members to access the screening kits through their organization.
Farmers’ Markets
Stayner: The Stayner Farmer’s Market is on! It will look different and there will be no music portion, but at least Stayner has a market. The seasonal and weekly fees have been waived for Market Vendors! They are accepting all vendors from artisan goods to produce. The first market night is Thu. Creemore: The Creemore Farmer’s Market happens every Saturday from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm in the Creemore Springs parking lot. (Entry from Mill S. gate only). Covid protocols in place: masks, hand sanitizer, Covid exposure questions, social distancing, and directional flow.
The Chamber will be sharing a booth with Clearview Township at both of the markets and we are looking for volunteers to represent the Chamber and sell 50/50 tickets. There will be two draws for the 50/50, one on July 31st and the other on August 28th. If you are interested in volunteering for one or several market dates, please contact Jessi Molnar at tourism@clearview.ca or student@clearviewchamber.com.
Canada Day Social Distance Celebration
The Clearview Chamber in partnership with Clearview Township, the Creemore BIA and the Clearview Public Library, will be hosting the Canada Day Social Distance Celebration encouraging families and businesses to festively decorate their homes and windows, post pics to social media using #clearviewcanadadaycelebration, and travel around their neighbourhoods to wave and honk at their neighbours from a distance.
May your messages of pride for this day also include messages of inclusivity, respect, and love for all its peoples, races, nationalities, and cultures.
The week’s events include:
- Business Window Decorating Contest: Decorate your business window and post your pics using #clearviewcanadadaycelebration. The Chamber will vote on the business with the best-dressed window and the winner will receive a free Chamber membership.
- Find the Flag: Clearview Township has hidden flags in all of our parks. Can you find them all between June 25 – July 5? Post, tag and share your findings on Facebook, Instagram & Twitter @discoverclearview, @clearviewchamberofcommerce, #clearviewcanadadaycelebration.
- Creemore Bike Scavenger Hunt: The Creemore BIA has arranged a Bike Scavenger Hunt. Download a copy of the scavenger hunt from www.experiencecreemore.com or pick one up from the Creemore Echo. Return your list by July 5th for a chance to win a $100 BIA gift certificate.
- Free Bookmarks & Book Lists: The Clearview Public Library is ready to provide you with a free bookmark and book list during Canada Day week. Please call the Stayner, Creemore or New Lowell branch to make a curbside pick-up appointment. Click here for branch information.
