The club has been collecting eyeglasses for over a decade and shipping them to the Canadian Lions Eyeglasses Recycling Centre (CLERC). CLERC cleans, repairs and labels them with prescription details. Then they are assembled into kits that will be sent to a third world country where they will be distributed to local Lions Club Vision Clinics to those in need of glasses... Also a big shoutout to all of you who take the time to drop off your used glasses at our collection points. This program is completely dependent upon your generosity!!
